In spectrophotometers like the DMS-90, there is an internal computer which allows you to set-up your analysis. This particular instrument does not contain the standard stand-alone computer and therefore the output for this insturment is still an analog, strip-chart recorder. This means that the absorbance (%T) vs wavelength plot is not linked digitally, but instead you get an absorbance vs time plot, where the time is related to the wavelength by the scan rate.
