DMS-90 Spectophotometer

In spectrophotometers like the DMS-90, there is an internal computer which allows you to set-up your analysis. This particular instrument does not contain the standard stand-alone computer and therefore the output for this insturment is still an analog, strip-chart recorder. This means that the absorbance (%T) vs wavelength plot is not linked digitally, but instead you get an absorbance vs time plot, where the time is related to the wavelength by the scan rate. The essential parts of the instrument are:

Control Panel
Cell Compartment
Internal components (monochromator, source and detector).
