Starch Prints

    In lab we will make "starch prints" using bean and/or geranium leaves.  To do so, we will follow the procedures supplied in the references cited below.

    Here's an experimental idea from Dr. Walker (University Sheffield, UK):  What would happen if we float leaf disks on water +/-  sucrose and +/- light overnight and then killing and staining as usual?  In which treatment(s) will starch form?

Hypotheses:  for each of the following treatments, record your prediction for whether starch will be formed or not.
