obituary -- Anna Mae Anderson

Services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 8, 2003 at the Wenner Funeral Home in Richmond, MN for Anna Mae Anderson, age 74, who died Wednesday at the Koronis Manor in Paynesville, MN. Pastor Charles Howley will preside. Burial will be in the Sts. Peter & Paul parish cemetery in Richmond.

Friends may call from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. Friday, and from 1:00 p.m. until services Saturday, at the Wenner Funeral Home in Richmond.

Anna Mae was born in Bloomington, IL. She married E. Harold "Andy" Anderson on October 11, 1946 in St. Charles, IL. Anna and Andy lived in Excelsior, MN for many years and in 1984 they retired and moved to Richmond.

Anna was a driver and delivery person for the Meals-On-Wheels program in Richmond. She was a member of Gloria Dei-Lutheran Church in Cold Spring, MN. Anna loved to fish. She really enjoyed "her" pontoon and she never went far without Lucky-her dog.

Survivors include her daughters, Sandy McLean of Round Lake Heights, IL and Dori Anderson of Minneapolis; sister, Patricia (Terry) Shepherd of IL; 2 grandchildren, Eli and Jay McLean; 2 great-grandchildren, Steven and Jacob McLean, many nieces, nephews and special friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; six brothers and three sisters.
