101Richmond July 7, 2003 Services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday July 10, 2003 at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Richmond, MN for Helen E. Heying age 101, who died Monday at St. Cloud Hospital. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call after 4:00 p.m. Wednesday and from 9-10:30 a.m. Thursday, at the Wenner Funeral Home in Richmond. The Golden Smiles, Christian Women, St. Catherine's Catholic Aid will pray a rosary at 4:30 p.m.; followed by parish prayers at 8:00 p.m. Helen was born in Richmond to Herman and Anna (Kemper) Torborg. She married Gregor Heying on May 31, 1922 in Sts. Peter & Paul Church, Richmond. She was a homemaker and beautiful seamstress. Helen was a member of Sts. Peter & Paul Parish, Christian Women and St. Catherine's Society. Survivors include her children, Mildred (Karl) Berndt of Shoreview, Julie (Lloyd) Nierenhausen of Woodbury, Verna (Bill) Stanis of Culver City, CA, Cathy (Larry) Thielen of Paynesville, Helen (Manny) Ressemann of Richmond, Germaine (Roger) Rausch of Plymouth, Dot (Butch) Illig of Carver and Peg Anderson of White Bear Lake; sisters Martha Behnen, Cora Becker, Catherine Stommes, Sr. Caroline Torborg, O.S.F. and Dorothy Brisse.. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gregor; son, Gene; daughter, Eileen Becker; son-in-law, Eddie Becker; granddaughter, Donna Thielen; sister, Phronie Behnen and brothers, Al, Cy, Bruno, Leonard, Ted and Hilar. Memorials are preferred to Sts. Peter & Paul School or Franciscans Sisters in Little Falls. Special thank you to the staff at the Paynesville Hospital, Koronis Manor, St. Cloud Hospital, ICU Respite Care Staff, Drs. Solum, Murphy, Nardi and Johnson.
