Located 18 miles southwest of Saint Cloud
in Central Minnesota, the city of Richmond is the gateway to the
Horseshoe Chain of
Lakes. Within 10 miles of Richmond there are more than 40 lakes, offering residents
and visitors outstanding recreational opportunities including fishing, swimming, water
skiing, boating, canoeing, golf, camping, sightseeing, horseback riding, tennis and
snowmobiling.

The story of the settlement of Ríchmond and its growth is the story of the German immigrants coming into the Sauk River Valley in the 1850s. Today, this agricultural community consists of approximately 1,000 residents. For more history click here.
